In December, I was nominated and humbly accepted the 2024 Friend of the Eden Prairie Chamber Award. Before the ceremony, the finalists were asked what the Chamber means to them.
My name is Jody Carey, and I'm a marketing consultant. I focus on content writing. My business is Jody Carey Copywriter, and I've been with the Chamber for almost two years. I've been on the ambassador committee since the beginning of 2024. One of the reasons I joined the Chamber is because of the connection that the Chamber has with Eden, Prairie City and with the schools. As an Eden Prairie alum, when we moved back to Eden Prairie, I wanted to get involved with the community. The Chamber was a place for me to set, re-establish my roots, participate in city and school events, volunteer my time, and give back to the community where I was raised.
