Are you struggling with what to write about? How to explain your value and promote your successes? Let me give you a little nudge.
It's time for you to take center stage and share a success story (aka case study).
No metrics to report? No worries.
If you've helped a customer (ever), you have a story to tell.
What's a case study?
A case study shows potential clients what you do and how you help clients solve their problems.
It's not bragging, it's proof. And potential clients love proof!
I often hear, "But I can't use the name of my clients."
The show can go on. Use a generic descriptor like healthcare facility, small business owner, private client, etc.
Your simple recipe for a stellar case study
👉 Client name
👉 Client problem
👉 Your solution
If available, add metrics, client quotes or photos. But please don't let the lack of these stop you from sharing how you helped a client.
Case studies give potential clients a story they can visualize. They're one of the most effective ways of demonstrating your value.
Swap your elevator pitch for a story. One with a main character, a conflict, and a hero (that's you!)
Case Study Examples
I love how Lydia Venjohn at Venlo Studio told the story of a successful rebrand for Under The Bark Syrup Co.
Here are two shorter examples that I created for a client and my website.
Camatic Seating - Mercedes-Benz Stadium

And two more I found searching online that are simple and effective.
